Health Essentials Online Return & Refund Policy

We want you to love everything you receive from us. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help. Please take a moment to review our return and refund guidelines below. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out, we’re happy to help.

General Returns & Exchanges

Returns are accepted within 30 days of receiving your order. All items must be:

  • In unused, original condition
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase (receipt)

If your order was placed online and there was an error on our end (such as a wrong item sent or an item arriving damaged), we’re happy to refund or replace it. 

Please email us at hello@myhealthessentials.ca please include:

  • Clear photos
  • Order number
  • A brief summary of the situation

Warranty Items

If you're local to Victoria, you're also welcome to bring the item into our store and we'd be happy to take a look in person.

Once we receive your information, we'll open a warranty ticket and review the claim. We may contact you if additional details are needed. As soon as a decision has been made, we'll reach out to let you know the outcome and any next steps.

If your warranty claim is approved:

  • The original item may need to be returned before a replacement can be issued
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, as well as any shipping costs associated with sending a replacement item
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service for all returns
  • Health Essentials is not responsible for items that are lost or damaged during return shipping.

How to Return an Item

  1. Email us at hello@myhealthessentials.ca first to let us know you would like to return or exchange an item. Please include your order number and the item(s) you wish to return.

  2. Ship the item to:
    Health Essentials
    300 Gorge Rd. W #101, Victoria, BC, Canada V9A1M8

  3. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

  4. Ensure the item meets our return requirements before shipping it back. Items must be returned include the original packaging and in resalable condition (see product-specific requirements below).

  5. Once we receive your return, we will inspect the item and send you an email confirming receipt. If the return is approved, we will forward the details to our accounting department to process your refund.

  6. If available, we appreciate receiving the tracking number for your return shipment, but it is not required.


Shoes 

Shoes may be returned within 30 days of receiving your order provided they are in new, resalable condition.

To qualify for a refund, shoes must:

  • Not have been worn outside
  • Show no signs of wear on the inside or outside
  • Include all original packaging
  • Have all original tags attached
  • Be returned in the original shoe box and packaging

Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

If shoes are returned and do not meet the above requirements, we will contact you to advise that a refund cannot be issued. In this case, the customer will be responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to them.


Clothing

Clothing may be returned within 30 days of receiving your order provided it is in new, unworn, resalable condition.

To qualify for a refund, clothing must:

  • Be unworn and unwashed
  • Have all original tags attached
  • Be free from stains, odours, pet hair, or signs of wear
  • Be returned in its original packaging where applicable

Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

If clothing is returned and does not meet these requirements, a refund cannot be issued and the customer will be responsible for the cost of having the item shipped back to them.


Returning Your Funds

Once your returned item arrives back to us, we'll send you a confirmation email and forward the details to our accounting team to begin processing.

Refunds are typically processed within 5 business days and applied to your original method of payment. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional up to 10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

Please note: Return shipping costs are not reimbursed.
